Before you specify a fabric
What information is needed for selection?
Start with the grade, machine position, operating speed, fabric dimensions, current specification and main issue. Add furnish, press, conditioning or dryer details for the position.
Can air permeability alone determine the choice?
Permeability is one parameter. Compare values using the same test method, pressure difference and test area, together with construction and operating conditions.
How is the supply specification confirmed?
Confirm construction, dimensions, materials, measurement conditions, tolerances and acceptance criteria in the technical specification for the intended position.
